Why Kamalani Photography?
I chose Kamalani Photography because “Kamalani” is my middle name, and I go by it to honor my roots and the legacy of my family. In ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi, Kamalani means “heavenly child,” a reminder of the strength and wisdom passed down through generations.
Growing up, I spent a lot of time learning about my culture and traditions, which continue to influence my photography today. Through Kamalani Photography, I aim to capture authentic moments that reflect connection and meaning, just as I’ve learned to appreciate the moments that define my own journey.
